DAILY SKIN CARE ROUTINE FOR A GLOWING SKIN

BASIC DAILY ROUTINE FOR A GLOWING AND HEALTHY SKIN.

Hello beautiful people, hope you are having a great day? by the way happy new month , i wish you all a wonderful and blessed new month and remember it is February, the month of love so please treat everyone around you with love and respect mostly the poor, it never hurt to show love to the less privileged. Yea so to the main topic, we all know how important it is to maintain a glowing and healthy skin, the skin is an important part of the body and we should be willing to go extra miles to ensure it is kept in a healthy way. Your skin care routine is super personal, so it’s best to focus less on how many steps you have and more on which steps are right for your skin type.
Great skin is not simply a matter of DNA ,no it isn't,  your daily habits, in fact, have a big impact on what you see in the mirror. There is a quite a lot of opinions based on everything from how to moisturize to how to protect yourself from UV rays. Ultimately, caring for your skin is simply personal. Here are steps on how to take care of your skin.

MAKEUP REMOVER AND OIL CLEANSER

Sure, you could use your makeup remover on a cotton pad at night and call it a day, but that means you’ll most likely end up with black streaks of mascara on your pillowcase the next morning. To truly remove ALL makeup, reach for an oil cleanser. Massage it over your dry face and neck to dissolve makeup and then never forget a splash of lukewarm water to emulsify the cleanser. Massage again and then rinse everything off!  In a perfect world, we need to be taking an extra step to meticulously remove every last bit of kohl eyeliner and waterproof mascara at the end of the day. In reality, we're lucky if we so much as wash our face. (Sorry.) Makeup remover and oil cleanser helps to clean out every trace of makeup on your face, ensure you choose a cleanser that takes off all makeup, sunscreen, and pollution from the day

FIND YOUR RIGHT CLEANSER

Dermatologist claims that washing your face is the most basic and essential step of any routine. Our skin comes in contact with environmental pollutants, dirt and other factors each day that should be gently removed, so you should at least wash your face twice a day, morning and night to avoid clogged pores, dullness and acne It is called double cleansing for a reason.
I suggest using water based cleanser to wash your face so as to whisk away any remaining residue and impurities from your oil cleansed face. The right formula cleanses your skin without stripping essential, healthy oils. Take it easy with exfoliating scrubs (use once a week) and avoid those with crushed walnut shells or abrasive ingredients.

                                               water based cleanser

Doctors have shifted the list of triggers from clogged pores and overactive bacteria to unbalanced hormones, which typically cause pimples to sprout on the chin and jawline right around the time of your period. Sometimes acne flairs up when women go off the pill after many years not realizing it was preventing both pimples and pregnancies. For some, returning to the pill can quickly rectify the problem (talk options with your gynecologist).

TONER

Toners are the product that dampens your skin and balances its pH levels. Think of them as supplements — these thin liquids deliver an extra shot of nutrients, helping the other products in your regimen absorb better, while still balancing your complexion. Think of your skin like a sponge it’s more difficult to hydrate it when it’s dried up and hardened than when it’s already a bit damp. Applying toner with clean hands is the most efficient way to apply, just pour or sprinkle a few drops in your palm, then swipe it directly onto your skin or if you prefer, you can pull apart a cotton pad so it’s not so thick before putting toner on it and gently swipe around your face working outward. Most formulas can be used morning and night.

MOISTURIZER

Hydrating your skin is the exceptional way to healthy and glowing skin so it is extremely important to find a moisturizer that works best for your skin type. The most basic function of a moisturizer is to hydrate and soften the skin, essentially moisturizers assist in preventing water loss through the outer layer of skin,. Moisturizer come in many forms from an emulsion, lotion, gel, or cream all of which works to seal in moisture, to plump up skin and smooth away any fine lines. Pat a moisturizer into your face and neck morning and night every single day. On days when your skin feels extra parched, swap your regular moisturizer for a sleeping pack. This is a product doctors recommend using year round for all skin types.

SUN PROTECTION

Even if you’re stepping outside for just a couple of minutes, you must wear sunscreen. It’s the easiest and most effective way to prevent premature aging (and skin cancer!). Experts unanimously agree on one thing: that sunscreen is hands down the most crucial skin care product. Daily and consistent use of sunscreen helps to prevent the development of fine lines and wrinkles, textural imperfections, and changes in the appearance of pores over time. More importantly, daily sunscreen use can help to prevent the formation of certain skin cancers.  Apply sunscreen every morning 30 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply throughout the day as requires probably at least every two hours. Chemical sunscreens should be applied directly to clean skin, while physical blockers can be applied last in your skin-care regimen, but before makeup is applied. It’s important to put this on last so it can fully shield your skin from UV rays without being diluted by prior products.

USE EYE CREAMS

Can you survive without an eye cream? Absolutely. But, if you have specific concerns then use one. The skin around the eyes is quite thin and delicate, and more likely to react to irritating ingredients than other areas, which means you should treat it like the delicate flower it is. Therefore, dermatologists typically recommend an eye cream that considers the potential sensitivity and has more tolerable concentrations of active ingredients. For under eye bags and inflammation, caffeine, peptides it can be soothing, dark circles can be due to visible veins or actual discoloration common in darker skin tones so look for brightening ingredients like vitamin C etc. An eye cream provides the area with extra helpings of hydration and protection. Use your ring finger to very gently tap (never rub!) eye cream around the entire orbital bone, avoiding the water line.
avoid any form of cream which can sting and create redness, to avoid any eye irritation.

 EXFOLIATION

You don't necessarily need to exfoliate especially if you have an oily skin, but you should be aware that exfoliating at least twice a week is necessary to enhance the skin to make it clear and polished. Removing dead cells make it possible for the rest of your skin care products to combine with your pore and perform their function. Gently massage or tap an exfoliant into your skin in order to achieve a smooth and silky skin

The following steps above won't be possible or won't even work without you putting your mind towards it. Please always remember to;
  1. Drink a lot of water
  2. Eat vegetables
  3. Pamper yourself with coconut oil, vaseline, cocoa butter or shea butter
  4. Bath at least 2 times daily
  5. Have a lot of rest and sleep
  6. Mind your business (hahahahahaha)
